2014 RLX Adv rear-end noise

I have 21XXX miles on my 2014 RLX Adv. I have had the rear actuators replaced @14xxx miles due to noise when making slight turns. The noise from the back end now sounds like gas sloshing in the tank yet it is full. Its is also sort of a low groaning sound. My wife and son recently heard it too. I have an appt for next Mon at dealer but wanted to check to see if any other owners have experienced this noise.

Have you considered turning up that excellent Krell audio system?

Since you already had the P-AWS RTC actuators replaced, check the part numbers on your service receipt against TSB 13-041 - P-AWS RTC Actuators Moan When Making Small Turns, as the part numbers were revised.

Yes, but it is an Acura - should not be necessary.

I was making a hard tight turn today and I also heard some type of moan from the rear of the car. I tried to reproduced it but could not. I had the rear actuators replaced when they did the headlights. I also know they told me they used the new ones that just came out to replace the old parts, which according to the service manager did not work. Is your consistent or intermittent?

My noise is intermittent BUT happens quite often. I hear it the most when I am slowly pulling into my garage and slightly turning the steering to angle the RLX into my narrow space.

Do you mind if I ask how the car performs at higher speeds?

Do you notice any delay in response for a high speed U, or in a series of switchbacks, or is it doing as well as it ever did?

George, at higher speeds I am mostly going in a somewhat straight line with not much traversing, or switchbacks. I need to find an empty lot and give it a good test. I think the reason I hear it more pronounced as I enter my gargae is becuas of the low ambient noise. My auto-hearing is sharper than my wifes so I know if she can hear it there must be an issue.

Well. It's concerning, is all I can say. I hope the dealer responds correctly.

After extensive testing the noise is only apparent at low speeds - <20 mph. When going very slow and turning the wheel the noise is very noticable so I am almost positive it is the rear actuators making the sound. I did have this addressed early on so maybe with the revised TSB 13-041 out it will finally put this annoyance to rest. I will update once diagnosed by dealer.

I haven't heard anything, so far maybe the AC whine, heard it again today but then went away.

That is most likely your actuators - a slight humming noise in nature?
