Here are pics of the car next to my old one. I have noticed a few small scratches on the top and also some kind of curb rash on passenger backside wheel and I know it wasn't there when I got it and I don't remember getting close to anything either.
Here are pics of why I might be able to use the Resistall (The paint on the outside of the car is messed up as well but I didn't take shots of those).
Also I got quotes on service plans: The best pricing I found was this:
6 Year 120K miles $1395
7 Year 120K miles $1595
8 Year 120K miles $1695

I paid $2,250 for an 8 yr., 120,000 mile, $0 deductible, Acura warranty. I believe that price was $100 over dealer cost for my Sport Hybrid [same cost as the PAWS].
I had no interest in the service plan since the normal service is not particularly costly or frequent. I was worried about failures not oil changes. Replacing the hard drive in the infotainment system isn't usually covered by a service plan but is covered by an extended warranty. Service plans are basically prepaid service costs. I saw little to be gained in getting one.

It is a warranty. This is based on a $100 deductible. Do I need to check out the $0 deductible? It is through Acura, Goodson Acura in Dallas. I didn't know if the windows were tinted or not. I will get that done tomorrow then. I do need tint.

Congrats Krava - that's a sweet looking RLX. I had a Graphite Luster TL and it looked absolutely amazing all polished up.
I also vote for a light tint - it will completely set the car off. 35% all around.
Enjoy!

Congrats krava - glad to see you finally made a decision for yourself! lol
GLP was the exterior color I wanted, but they didn't have Seacoast interior on that option, so I went with CBP. As everyone else has suggested, go for a tint, it will set off that GLP very nice, except I'd go for something a bit darker than 35%. I always go back to this picture as a reference:
IMO one of the best pictures/angles of the RLX.

Many of the major reviewers brushed off the design as "boring" but I believe Acura did a great job with the RLX styling.

^ im torn. at certain angles, like the one above, it is a gorgeous design, but there are other angles where it leaves more to be desired, hence my recent post "what's to come..."
ultimately I believe it can be better, a good bit better. That said: the current design is a great foundation for them to keep building on and is hopefully a sign that things are headed in the right direction.

Did 35% on all windows and 20% in the back. Cost $149 no tax . The law here is 50% on drivers side 35% on the back windows on each side. I got them to do 35% on all 4 and 20% in the back. Don't want to go lower then 35% because I don't want to be pulled over for any reason. The interior of the lexus has been though a lot. Also the front bumper has some peeling paint. The top has some paint issues. I got a 2-3" dent in the drivers side quarter panel when I was parked and never got it fixed. I posted the lexus pictures to show you why it is possible I might can use the warranty with the Resistall Package. I don't want the RLX to end up like the Lexus. The Lexus is my DD right now and the RLX is covered. It will be used not very often until the Lexus gives out or I sell it. I will have to take it to Dallas to get that warranty at Goodson Acura I believe. I have a thread starting on that if I get some answers. I am used to Lexus warranty which I have used. I don't know how Acura's warranty is, but I think it should be similar. I wish I got the Sport Hybrid but that would been almost another 20K and then how many times would I have to replace the batteries before the life of the car is out . I am still getting 28MPG combined right now in mine. I do need to put some STP ethnol gas treatment in it. They clearenced them out from $4.20 to $2.00 and I bought a dozen they had left.
