2014 Acura RLX won't let me drive over 50 mph

Hello. I have been having issues with my 2014 Acura RLX for over a year. Sporadically, all the warning lights will come on (adaptive cruise control problem brake system problem, power steering system problem, VSA, etc) and the car will not let me drive over 50 mph.

I had no problems all winter, but the problems reappeared as soon as i started using my air conditioning a week or so ago.

I brought my car to Acura 4 or 5 times and they haven't been able to fix anything. Their only suggestion was to replace the whole wiring harness and said it could exceed $5,000.00.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated

How is your battery health? I've seen posts of similar issues where the battery was weak. Could be wrong, but if it works you get off cheap.

Sounds like the battery might be going. Cheap $200 repair that will be needed anyway eventually. See if that works.

Unfortunately the battery is pretty new. I replaced the battery when it first started (hoping for a cheap fix)

New RLX or preowned?
the third gen TL suffered from a clogged A/C drain line, which led to water dripping all over the ECU.
the ECU would then short the spark plug coil packs.
worth lookin into.

Never heard that one, but it sounds plausible if that is the cause.

So reading this . . . .a year + long issue? Wow. Only one Acura dealership to take to for diagnosis? Hell, try a Honda dealership. Seems like a major problem to me that I would have a hard time living with. Others have asked, but I will ask also. Did you buy the vehicle new? How many miles on it?

I have brought the car to two separate Acura dealer and my own mechanic. I bought it used with about 18,000 miles on it.

The clogged AC drain seems very promising. Thanks for all of the input

If the front camera area is dirty or covered it will light up the whole dashboard.
See if you have damage on the glass in front of the camera or something interfering there.

No luck with the clogged AC drain. No codes, so they don't know what to do
