RDX Coilovers

RDX Coilovers
Hey guys so I know there are a few options for coilovers for the gen 3 rdx. I know Wunderwagon shared his experiences with JVR coilovers ( thank you for that) are there any other users who have tried any coilovers?
So far I have found 4 companies who make coilovers but all suspiciously use the same wording and components listed on their sites.
JVR, SFRacing and Fitted Visions all list the same components and spring rates on their sites as 12k front and 9k rear. I contacted Fitted Visions and the person assured me that they will still be comfortable even at 12k rate. I am skeptical of this.
I then contacted Aleks Racing who sells 4 kits for the rdx from Border suspension. I personally never heard of them. The person there assured me that they fit 19-22 rdx even tho it’s listed as 18+. There are Street, Sport, rally and Race options. The spring rates vary from 8.5k front and 6.5k rear for the street version and all the way to 12.5k front and 9.5k rear for race.
so this means that the other companies mentioned are basically not for street use if they come standard with such high rates.
Also, the Border coilovers state they lower the vehicle 60mm to 100mm. That is 2.3” to 4” drop. For reference Eibach lowers 37mm front and 30mm rear or 1.5” and 1.2”. So even on the highest setting they will slam the vehicle which is great for those who want it but not so great for those who just want a touch lower than eibach.
Can anyone with coilover experience on rdx chime in please?

I just said screw it and went with Eibach lol. Drop is pretty descent actually and the ride is very much like stock just a touch firmer. I got the spring sleeves as well. For reference I have 20mm spacers also.

Don't go with any of these brands. The spring rates are completely wrong. More likely than not, you will be wasting time and money. +50% spring rate is a more reasonable upper limit.
No top brands are interested in this platform. I asked Tein and they said they have no plan. The reason is obvious - the market is too small to justify the commitment and investment. Tein does offer make-to-order service. It will not be cheap even with a group buy (say 20 sets), though. KW make-to-order is only more expensive.

Ya I realize that now. I checked other name brand companies for similarly weighted vehicles and the spring rates are nowhere near what these guys offer. I think I made the right choice with eibach

I’m on stock rubber. When it comes time to change I think continental dws 6 will be my choice
