Filling air in the tires question

Hey guys
I did stop at a gas station to fill air in my tires because the winters here brought it down to 28-30 psi. So my car was running when I attempted to fill air in all 4 tires and I noticed after a few moments that the hazard lights went off with a beeping sound.
I thought I reached my desired psi. I finished repeating this to all 4 tires and drove off only to find that the tires were inflated only to 32psi. When the sticker on y door indicated 36psi.
so what are the hazard indicators for? And should I just go to the dealers instead or could somebody guide me on diy?

I have a high quality analog air pressure gauge, and I use it. My 2 cents.

I would stop by Discount Tire if there is one in your area, they do free air and nail checks. I have seen where gas station hoses are faulty because EVERYONE uses them.. sometimes incorrectly.

Hey so I watched a video and read the manual.
this feature where you fill air in your tires and the indicators go on and off for 5sec intervals. Once you reach the correct psi it beeps rapidly to let you know to stop.
oh my I love this car!
