BBS SX polished with anthracite accents. 20 x 9. 36 pounds.
Mounted with Michelin CrossClimate SUV 255/45/20.
These pix were from my red RDX but, they are now on my blue one..
Flow One F3 wheels in 20x8.5" 45mm offset. Wheels weigh 22.18lbs per manufacturer and 23.9lbs per TireRack. Factory wheels weighed around 33lb 5oz according to my scale so a huge unsprung weight advantage with these on.
I’ve just removed the BBS SX wheels and put the OEMs back on.
As heavy as the OEM setup is, they are lightweight compared to the BBS setup.
The car feels quicker and lighter on its feet.
Of course they look much nicer than the dull Advance wheels.
If anybody wants them and is willing to drive to Delmont, PA to pick them up, they’re yours. $3,400 upgrade for free. A couple scratches on the front rim from the car wash annoy the crap out of me but, probably wouldn’t bother anybody else. PM me if interested. Thanks..
They look great against the silver. It's helping me cope with not having been able to get the blue-gray theme that I had wanted ... and you got :P
You were/are 100% right about the tires. The aggressive thread has zero impact on road noise - and even with the added size and shorter wall - the ride is noticeably smoother when compared to the 19" stock. Though I'm sure the adaptive dampeners are also a reason for that. I think you're absolutely right to try and get these on the 19" Advance - I'd expect a huge improvement over stock.
It was great meeting you - and super funny how much the places we know and frequent overlap even from 400 miles away.
I hope dinner went well.
And again (I can't say it enough) thank you so much!
(I tried to get at least one of my dogs in the picture - seemed like the most appropriate way to end this arch w/in the thread. They were being a pain in the @$$ though about not staying still.)
21 Advance with Enkei TMS Wheel 18x8.5 45 at 22lbs with 255/55-18 Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires. Total weight 50 lbs vs. 63 lbs for stock 19s and tires. More width and sidewall to handle our cratered and gravel roads. They sit flush with the fenders
Put on my new summer shoes on today - Enkei TSR-X 20x9.5. They're about 11-12lbs lighter than the stock A-Spec. I'd say they're flush in the rear and poke a bit in the front - depends on what you are measuring from (the bottom of the wheel definitely pokes out in the front).

What size of tires do you have on that setup and what is the wheel offset?

I stuck with stock size of 255/45/20 and the offset is +40 so I'm 29mm further out than stock. I was looking for a E46 M3 kinda look and I'd say that it worked out pretty well. The rears could be out a wee bit more but the fronts are perfect as is - I don't think a wider tire would have worked out with the look I wanted. The Continentals I run also have a rounder sidewall than Michelins so it blends into the fender better - your choice of tire will affect the end look you get.
I started this thread so owners could gather an idea what wheels would they like on their RDX's.
Went with a set of RAYS Gram Lights 57FXX R19 8J ET45.

Those wheels (rays) are a 1000% better looking than the stock advance wheels. Wonder if they have a dark color? While I used to dislike dark wheels, I have grown to really like the look.

They have it in black. Those were professionally powder coated and dimond cutted on face side.
Found them (black). Thanks. I can see what attracted you to the brand...I have never heard of Rays, but they make some nice looking wheels....pricy too!
im not done yet, still need to lower the car and put the caps/shells on these lug nuts, but i got some new wheels! I did something interesting with the tires too; stepped down from the OE 255/45 to a 245/45. OD goes from 29.1 to 28.7. I've gotten flak from ppl for the looks, but it will give a stiffer sidewall and help the brakes work a little bit better. the color in person POPS. looks soo good. even though this isn't a JDM car, it gives it a JDM look, a la a JDM DC5R with red recaros and bronze mugens. albeit its pearl white and not Championship White. Nostalgia!
I'll post more when i put the springs on and get it fully dialed in. i really want to do black badges and exhaust tips, but too much $$ to justify. might see about doing the calipers in semi-flat black though.
I see what you are doing here, and really like the wheels and tires. Regarding your downsizing, not sure I am on board, but that doesn’t matter…just a thought. I have an open mind and look forward to seeing it when you have it where you want it to be.
God bless and protect each of us RDX drivers as we care for and modified these cars.
Thise wheels look amazing! I have just ordered a 2022 RDX Plantinum Elite A-Spec in Liquid Carbon Metallic and am not a fan of the stock wheels and want to change them to something like yours. Can you please share more details about where to source them, specs and pricing?
Just curious for everyone with aftermarket wheels, are you using hubcentric rings, and if so, did they come with your wheels or did you have to buy them separately?

Yes, using the hubcentric rings that came with mine from Tire Rack.

I'm using hub centric rings that came with the wheels BUT you don't really HAVE to use them. I've had wheels run true and balanced just fine without them.
