Have anyone experienced that XM Satellite radio will be muted automatically when using their iPhone connected to the USB port?

I have either to close all the apps on my iPhone for the XM un-mute itself or switch to radio to get it working again.. doesn't help to try to increase the volume as well since still it keep itself muted for non obvious reason!

 

Wait for the update that is scheduled to be released mid-week and see if that makes a difference.

 

My XM stops playing when I plug in my iPhone because it switches over to Apple Carplay by default. But I can override that by going back to Home and opening up XM radio. The same works by tapping Apps on the steering wheel and accessing XM from there. Obvious question, but have you tried that?
