Lumbar support
Lumbar support
Hi. I'm new to the forum, and new to Acura. Love the wealth of information here.
Haven't found a post about this anywhere else... I purchased a 2019 RDX Adv SH-AWD a month ago. Really happy so far, but one irritation. The lumbar support doesn't hold its position over time. I"m 6' 5", so I crank the vertical position pretty high. That seems to stay put. But the horizontal position, i.e. how far it protrudes out, won't stay where I put it. I haven't kept close track, but I have to readjust every couple of days or so. Frankly, it shouldn't matter how long. It should just stay where I set it.
Anybody else notice this? Am I missing something?

I believe the Seat Position is kept in the Memory Setting i.e. the Green Light showing either Driver 1 or Driver 2.
So once you have adjusted the Lumbar are you also Pushing and Holding the Memory Key to retain the Seat Setting?

Thanks DHood. Good thought. Hadn't tried that as I understood the memory was only adjusting the overall forward/back seat position. User manual pg 201 seems to state that as well, though it's silent on the lumbar. I'll try it today, reprogramming the memory with lumbar where I want it, and report back.
