So... I dropped a micro SD card when removing it from my dash cam, it fell down along and into the steering column. I saw it end up in between two covered compartments below and when I tried to grab it with needle nosed pliers, it slipped away into the lower compartment.

Is there a correct method to removing this cover outlined by the red box?
