Mine heats up within a min of starting the car, even when parked outside at work all day.

Heater takes to long to come on

My heater also takes to long to come on. I've had it to the dealership twice and they tell me everything is normal. I've compared it to my other vehicle in identical conditions and it takes almost twice as long. It's very frustrating.

I'm not in a super-cold area (Atlanta), but for heat (or cooling) so far, it starts to acclimate within a minute or two. When I remote start the car and get in, everything's running reasonably well.

That said, I think the digital gauges have a slight lag on them (engine temp, fuel, etc.) but the HVAC system seems to do what it's designed to do...

highly doubt the gauges have any lag, pretty much an instant thing

You can doubt whatever you like...that's just my observation. To each his own.
