Head restraint / headrest is so uncomfortable!
Is anyone else having an issue with the new headrest design? I'm 5'1, and I have to sit on 2 cushions to have a comfortable view above the steering wheel on the highest seat setting. But now I'm thinking I need to buy a 3rd cushion because the headrest, even on the lowest setting, is too high, and it juts forward into my head/neck area. It's especially uncomfortable when wearing ponytails and up-do hairstyles.

My wife is 5'1" and the RDX headrest design was a major factor in her choosing the Acura. The headrest in many other vehicles she checked out could not be moved far enough back for her to be comfortable.

What trim level? I don't know the details but the interiors are slightly different from Tech to A-Spec to Advance. For example, the leather in the Advance trim has "piping" (big deal). But I would think the differences are only cosmetic. I test drove only Standard and Tech packages, no A-Spec or Advance until I took delivery on mine. If you test drove a trim package other than what you bought, did you not notice the problem then?
I'm 6'2" and my wife is 5'1" and we have no problems adjusting either front seat. The head restraint should not be touching your head while you're driving. It's not a "head rest".
While shopping, I sat in a Hundai (Santa Fe or Tucson?) and the head restraint was pushing my head down to where I could not see out the windshield. Even the salesman couldn't adjust it. Not that I was likely to buy one but I had to eliminate it just for that.
