Front warning has stopped working?

Strangely it seems my front warning has stopped? When I used to pull in my garage it would sound everytime I started to get close to the front wall but it doesn't now, it seems to still works on the road because I've had the brake warning come up when I get to close to the car in front of me coming up to a red light but I can get within inches of my garage wall with no warnings?
I checked the settings and it seems everything is setup correctly. Am I missing something, any suggestions?

The anti-collision warning is different from the parking warning, so I would first check to see if you accidentally turned off the parking sensor. If it is still on, you could test it in a safe situation. For example, get a traffic cone and deliberately run into it at a low speed from different positions to see which parking sensors may be out. Or, if you're lazy, just take it into the dealer and have them check it out.

That's the parking warning sensor button (this isn't from an RDX, but looks the same). Make sure the light is on. It's to the left of the steering wheel on the cluster of other buttons. If the light's off, the system is off and would explain why it's not beeping at you. If it's on but still isn't working, take it in for warranty repair.

Have you had it in for any service recently? Sometimes I find the technicians turn off stuff I have previously set to "on"...like Auto headlights.... Irritates me to no end when I am driving down the road, knowing I had them in auto position, and I realize I don't have my headlights on!

I’ve had an issue lately where my right front sensor alarm will start going off and indicate red as if something is right in front of me when there’s nothing there. It’s very intermittent, but if it does it once when starting it up, then it will do it at every stop (stops alarming over 5-10mph and re-alarms at the next full stop). Annoying.. so usually I just turn the function off, but it is nice to have sometimes..

anyone else got a wayward sensor?

In two years, I've had something like two or three times that my sensor went off when there was nothing there. But it didn't continue to do it during that trip. It was just once and then stopped. It was still annoying because I was worried that I wasn't seeing something and was going to run into it, so I was sort of frozen in place. Eventually, I just ignored the sensor warning and drove forward and nothing happened.

yea first time it happened I didn’t move the car, I didn’t want to hit something, popped out, went to the front and there was nothing there at all. I brushed off the sensor in the front so there was no road salt etc on it but it didn’t change lol. It’s not every time I’m in the rdx that it happens, it’s random, but when it does it’s for about the whole day, each time you come to a stop.

I have the same exact issue. Did you find a fix?

Adrian Newey's "How To Build A Car" online free

https://d-pdf.com/book/pdf-download-how-to-build-a-car

I posted this over in Historical thread but figured others here may be interested in reading Adrian Newey's autobiography for free
There are many chapters that focus on certain cars (ie Williams FW14B)
I just started it, so the first chapter about his childhood is kinda slow

You can read online or download the pdf
