does anyone know if there is a setting other than the button near the console to disable the auto shut off at a full stop ?

Not that anyone knows of. But you can maybe reverse the polarity of the switch so that it's always off unless you turn it on!

They make this difficult because it increases fuel efficiency. It may only be like one MPG but that matters.

Every forum for every car company on the planet has this thread (including multiple here) but car companies do not want you to do that.
