Blocked sensor?

Was driving yesterday and it was lightly snowing, a slushy kind of snow. Nothing was accruing on the ground, but it was building up a little on the car. And i got this message (see images). So i pulled over and wiped off the sensor under the logo and then the 2 by the fog lights. Error was still there. So i drove home. After about 10 minutes driving, the error went away. I couldn’t use the ACC. Is this something i am going to have to deal with all winter during the snow?

Yep your stuck with it. Wet snow will constantly build up on the sensor and cause this. Nothing is wrong any of the systems.

Normal and actually good that it occurs. IMO
most people complain about the errors but in hazardous or extreme weather you want all driving aids to be off and to have full control.

I found if I remove the snow on the the Acura emblem by the grill ,turn the car off and restarted it , it would now work fine but if more snow builds up it could reoccur again

Yep, it's a common occurrence any time there's snow/wintry mix. Cruise control during snow is a no-no anywho.

Many times this happens the road is nothing more than wet as the snow melts as fast as it comes down, usually very wet snow with the temperatures just around the freezing point.

Thanks everybody!

I love Michigan!

second question - auto high beams. How do I test them besides driving around in the country full of deer? Mine were coming on every morning when I would get on the highway just for a few seconds. But in the last few weeks they haven’t. In fact I drove to the country the other night and they never come on once. Does time of day have an effect on them?

Could it possibly need to be re-programmed? I'm not sure what the procedure to do so is, but that might be the issue?

As long as the auto high beams don't have to be reprogrammed, by flashing your high beams once, this takes them out of auto-high beam mode. Flash your high beams once and the high beams will once again be put in auto high beam mode. The green high beam indicator will show up on your dash.

ok gotcha! I thought it was a “set it and forget it” feature.

This is correct, but keep in mind that the "green auto high beam indicator" will only show up at night, when the headlights are on, so this is the best time to "flash" to turn them on.
