2019 RDX splash guards

Hello,

Do the splash guards on the RDX really protect the car?. They look so small and I dont understand how do they protect the car.

Planning to get them installed if they are really useful as I live in a snowy place.

I think they add a bit of protections to edges around the wheel. Not much protection, but I think they look very nice.

I'm happy with them. They definitely keep the side of the RDX cleaner.

For real protection you need "Yosemite Sam" splash guards. People tend to tailgate less when they sense you are packing heat

I think this sums it up.

Available at any Walmart and include the mounting hardware that's guaranteed to lose at least one flap and cause rust around the others. A bargain at $24.99. Drill bit not included.

I believe they just complicate things especially when ice and snow accumulate on the wheel wells and large chunks must be kicked off so they don't interfere with the tires.
