19 RDX extended cranking to finally start....

Hi everyone, so this is my first post/question, yeah! Thank you to everyone who posts and answers back other's posts - I've found this forum extremely helpful and entertaining! Here's my issue; I've noticed in my two+ years of ownership that when the RDX sits for roughly an hour (regardless of season), that it takes 5 or 6 seconds to crank and finally start. Typically it starts right up in a second or two when it sits over night or when out running errands. It seems like the fuel pressure drops over that hour and the engine is starved for fuel (that's how it sounds to my untrained ear). The auto start/stop works fine.....again the issue only occurs when it's been sitting for an hour. We have a 2015 Highlander and when I'm in the garage, I regularly hear what sounds like the fuel pump turn on to (I assume) keep the pressure up. I've not had it to the dealer for this issue because it's really a minor annoyance in what is otherwise an amazing vehicle. Anyone else experience this? Is there a tune or available fix??? Thanks!!!!

Welcome!

I'm wondering if your RDX is part of the fuel pump recall, and if that has anything to do with this issue?
