Question Starting the RDX (Question)

I was wondering if there is any benefit when starting the RDX to turn the key to position two and pause for about two seconds (just before cranking the engine) to let the system prime, etc. If you do this you can hear what sounds like the system priming.

Anybody do this and is there any benefit? Just curious.

All it is is the fuel pump pressurizing the rail. It doesn't hurt, but there is no real benefit either.
