In terms of a noticeable difference There is a better flow to it and better throttle response. The charge pipe introduces more air into the engine it is not required to tune it but for best results it’s recommended to have it tuned. Compared to my 2.0 accord that i have fully modified i feel as if the intercooler and intercooler piping paired with the charge pipe would provide even better flow results in my opinion. Im currently running Functionwerk’s downpipe, ktuner v2, & hps charge pipe. I have the intercooler and graham rahal exhaust on my pendings list for now.

My kit looks slightly different, it came with all three parts.

Some slight modifications were needed to mount everything up perfectly, but overall its a nice kit compared to the PRL which uses more silicone hose which I felt was cheap and more likely to have failure due to fatigue on the hose.

As far a performance I'm seeing overall power and torque gains, more low end torque for sure.

Did the 3 pc. Hps pipe kit fit the rdx? What slight modifications did you have to do?

Interesting. I have the top pipe installed no problem. I separately ordered the turbo outlet-> intercooler pipe and the shape was not correct and I sent it back. Just ended up with T-bolt clamps on the factory hose for now.

Did you try to install the lower charge pipe or just the turbo outlet to the intercooler? From looking at the lower charge pipe "c" shaped for hps may fit our rdx.

Only tried the turbo outlet to the intercooler. The cold side U shaped piece does appear that it would line up and work.

Question

Hi everyone, I'm very interested in this HPS Chargepipe kit, but I'd like to determine which pieces are confirmed to fit and which ones do not.

https://hpsperformanceproducts.com/p...40851184550078

On the HPS site, there is a full 3 piece kit, a hot side, a cold side 2 piece kit, a cold side upper only, and a cold side extension only. Can someone please confirm which of these pieces fit the RDX and whether any modifications were required? Thanks very much for researching new parts for our platform!

The only piece that will be a confirmed fit will be the top piece which i showed installed. The remaining 2 pieces for that kit that someone mentioned does not fit at all i have already tried pairing this before hand.

The main pipe fits perfectly, the U pipe which goes under the airbox requires to to fab a bracket to mount in the stock location and to use a different coupler to finish off the lower section to the intercooler.

I tried another silicone coupler from the turbo to the intercooler, but scrapped it because there was too much bend in the tube because of the odd shape.
