Many of you may not care, but I am bothered by the factory orange dip stick on my engine.
So, I bought a 2023 Civic Type R dip stick because they are factory black, And for only $10 why not. Works perfectly too, same dipstick but in black.

Hey it's your car so why not if it makes you happy. I mean orange is an interesting choice. Maybe they did it to help it stand out for people who don't know too much.

Plus it's got to add like 5 to 10 hp right?

Is Honda engine cover supposed to look nicer than the one from Acura?

 

amazing! but you should have gotten it in red for more horsepower.. because

 

i think it does, the acura its plain and boring, the red honda gives it a pop

agreed, I did the same thing! I like this idea of the black dipstick tho, the orange definitely clashes with the red CTR Engine Cover.

Makes me wonder if the Acura engine cover from the Integra Type S would fit...

 

You and I my friend think the same, I thought about the same thing. Probably when the type s integra comes out I will inquire about it with the parts dept.

 

That makes 3 of us. My dilemma is whether I want the cover alone or trade the RDX for an Integra Type-S.
