I got 2019 SH-AWD base package now couple of weeks back and now realizing the need of Blind spot detection.
I have added those small convex mirror to side mirrors and this help a bit.But I still miss the blind spot camera from my CRV.

Wondering if there's any way to use external camera and provide feed to infotainment system.

My initial thought was for blind spot camera, but yeah if video input be made to work, why not Netflix

The only chance you'll have at this (and it's a real stretch) is if you can successfully root the infotainment system's firmware and install a 3rd party application that will display the external camera's video feed. It will never be as seamless as the blind spot cameras you had on the CRV and would require hours of modifications to the vehicle.
