Maintenance minder?

Ok, why am I seeing a ma8ntenace minder code of A17? Why am I having to change the brake fluid at 21k miles?

Because brake fluid doesn't care about mileage, it is hygroscopic (absorbs water) over time and should be replaced every 3 years REGARDLESS of mileage.

Not just Acura, any car you buy that has brake fluid will have recommendation to change it every 3 years. Its a liability issue due to water absorption.

what's the build date of your car? brake fluid is usually called to change every 2-3 years independent of mileage.
