Question, and it may be silly, but does everyone just follow the maintenance minder for things like oil changes or is there a specific mileage I should get it done regardless of what the mid says

 

For oil changes, I have used the maintenance minder.

 

I use the maintenance minder as a general guideline, however, I don't rely on it.
I follow the maintenance recommendations found in the manual.

 

I follow the MID for everything that I can (except MTF change), but I do the maintenance as soon as it hits 15% and gives me the code.

I recently flushed the brake fluid but that's the only thing I've done to this point that the MID doesn't have a code for. The manual recommends every three years on that.

 

the owners manual tells you to follow MID.

as there isnt any set mileage for maintenance
