Hi all,

Has anyone replaced the exhaust tips on their 2019 or 2020 RDX Advance? My 2020 Advance is black, with the 19" Acura black rims, tinted, and I'm going through a chrome delete now. I stumbled across black exhaust tips, which is the last piece of chrome on my car, and thought about swapping it out. Not sure if they just un-bolt, or what, and these tips come in various inlet sizes. No idea what we have.

On my A-spec, the tips were welded on, so you would have to cut them off and fit the ones that you want.

 

There is a screw that holds the tip on the non A-SPEC. I bought the carbon fiber tip but not sure if I want to install it.

 

What size of carbon fiber tip did you get?

 

very frustrating that the tip isn’t a bult-on on the 2020 rdx Aspec. I wanted to send it in for gloss-black powder coating but now that it would need to be sawed off I am turned off by the idea... anyone on here switch the tips? How much would a shop charge to saw off tips then we’d them back on after powder coating?

 

Where were you able to find a carbon fiber exhaust tip that fits? I bought an OEM set of exhaust tips and are having them ceramic coated,, because I'm told powder coat may not take the high heat.

 

you’d be better off disconnecting the mufflers having them powdercoat/high heat paint completely (tips included) and reinstalled

or if you can buy them.. the PMC black exhausts that are black aspecs
