2021 RDX Tint Windshield issues?

Hi has anyone had any sensor issues tinting their windshield? I have been to a few places and they won't do it due to complaints about sesnors not working. One company said the customer had issues but after a week or so it was all okay and the sensors were working normally.

Tinting the windshield may not be legal in some states. Pretty sure all the sensors are in the upper central section with the black dots that would never be tinted. If it’s an Advance model, the tint might affect the heads up display.

Good point its an A-Spec with no headsup display. I agree they shouldn't tint over the dots. Thanks for the info I can only assume the issues the tinters have had were with headsup display...

Update, I have had the windshield tinted now for a few weeks with Zero issues with any sensors or radio stations.

Tinted the windshield ceramic 70% and 0 issues with sensors and HUD. Was worried initially as I had seen similar posts but all good for me.

I have done 70% ceramic, no issues with the car, however I "feel" my cell reception took a hit.

Had mine done 6 months ago and have zero issues with the sensors as far as I can tell. The only sensors I am aware of are the ones around the upper middle of the windshield which they cut out around that area. Head's up display works as well.

Sensors are not affected as all but one are in the top middle portion of the windshield where the mirror housing sits. The only sensor possibly affected would be the auto headlight but only if you go super dark. 70% IR film added to the windshield over the dots as the ‘22 model has the dots inside the glass so the tint was applied all the way to the mirror housing. Also got both of the roofs done with the same film for added heat reduction
