I have a 2024 RDX Tech. Whenever I am able to download a new map, the date of the map is always a year old or more. For instance, last week I was able to download a new map, but the database is from September 2024.

Shouldn’t there be a map update available that is much more current?

 

Why would anyone use anything but phone navigation since like 2016?

 

When you have no data - that's why I still use a standalone Garmin.

 

I've always liked using the native system when available, but you're right that if you want the latest maps you need to use AA/Carplay.

 

I also prefer CarPlay because Waze gives me better updates on routes/traffic/roads closed/police/cameras.

 

I downloaded a map for 2019 RDX from the HERE site on Feb 21, 2026 and the version is 2025.09.18.

 

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll check the site and see if there is one for my 2024.
