RDX 2019 remove HFL?

RDX 2019 remove HFL?
So yesterday I was greeted with the notorious HFL battery drain issue (after replacing a possibly good battery). Paid $150 to find this out. I don't want to take it to the dealer IF
* Disabling BT and deleting all phone connections will fix it
OR
* I can easily remove the HFL myself.
Does anyone else have this issue with RDX 2019 model. Mine's 5.5 years old.
