Navagation question

I have had my new RDX SH-SWD A-spec for a week now and I am trying to learn all of the features of it. On the factory navigation system, how do you NAME a destination you have entered and saved?? I can not figure it out and it just seems to save it as the actual address, which is not how I want it saved! I must be overlooking some option to do this, so I hope you can help me figure this out!

Thanks so much!

At present you can't! Many have commented about this. We are hoping the next update will provide this capability.

Well darn it, but thanks for letting me know! Is there a good way to voice our frustrations with this with Acura to try and get that change made in a future update? I apologize if that has already been posted somewhere and I haven't seen it. I will just do my part if there is something we can do to try and get them to make this change that seems like such a basic function to a navigation system!

See the "Back to Garmin" thread. We found the Detour button. NAV talks a lot, but doesn't give key information like the street name, route number or direction., just left and right. The information is displayed on the screen. I'm guessing this is because we don't have HUD in the Tech package. As someone noted "Home" is a pre-programmed "Favorite" name so the basic database functionality is there. I would be curious who wrote the NAV program. As I've stated before you would think bench marking the functionality of a Garmin would be a part of the design process and wonder who was in the focus group that reviewed the design. On second thought this is a Beta so we are the focus group.
