I have a 2019 RDX A-Spec. I noticed recently that my Nav pronounces the number four as “Fur”. Don’t recall this in the past but I don’t use Nav much so maybe it’s been that way for quite some time. Pretty ridiculous on a car considered one of the higher end Acuras.

Has anyone else noticed this???

 

Ridiculous?, that's fur sure, dude. Haven't noticed it yet but probably will now that you mentioned it. Anyways (or is it anyway), where did you buy the car - in New Jersey???

 

Haven't noticed because I keep all voices turned off, but that's definitely strange! Doesn't the RDX have different language options? Maybe you can change to British English and it will enunciate better . I used to have name-brand bluetooth earbuds (with the wire between the 2 buds) that would say "hexons connected" when they paired with my phone. It was such an odd design flaw.

 

Are you sure that it's pronouncing all instances of the number 4 as "fur" or is it correctly pronouncing a misspelled word in the map data that should be "four" but is "fur" instead?

Yes! Mine does it too! I laugh every time.
