Does it improve CarPlay and make it usable again?

 

Hallelujah !!!!!! It fixes the initial crash when u first started up CarPlay with the last release so need to do some driving and testing.....hopefully the rest of the bugs with CP are gone as well.

@tecwerks and @Padre Dave I have an appointment with a dealer tonight and I'm on the fence whether I should buy or not. I'll follow this thread and your replies with a lot of attention.

 

Kebel87: So, what did you decide? In spite of these challenges, I would still purchase my A-Spec all over again. When it is working, the playback in that cab is amazing. Yesterday was my first episode with these problem in months. Other than that is was 190 degrees yesterday (OK, I am exaggerating) I can’t come up with any other reason for these things to recur. Blessings to you in your decision

 

I installed it yesterday, and had two hour long commutes to and from work. Back to normal. Normal being typically skipping, etc, but it will at least run, unlike the 13.1 beta 1.

 

I was SO thankful for the update and so far so good for me. I was just on WIFI and not LTE, but it appears that does not matter. It also appeared to be quite snappy!

 

I installed the update on my phone and iPadPro. I have a messed up knee so I am on auto-pilot when I start up, but will try to pay more attention tomorrow. I noticed today that I forgot to unplug my iPhone on CarPlay and started it up and the whole thing ran just it is supposed to do! Who knew?

 

The 13.2 update and my 2019 RDX are now working (almost) perfectly. I say "almost" because I am always expecting something not to work!

 

That is awesome for you too! I thank God for you every time I play my 5.1 music in my car. I wouldn’t have known about it if you didn’t post it here on this forum. Amazing benefit of this car!
