Instrument panel

Does anyone know of a way to set the center panel to default to what you want every time you start the car instead of always defaulting to the trip computer?

I read through the manual and didn’t see a way. It’s only a matter of scrolling through to get to your view though. I think the default is what most people want to see anyway.

In my 2017 I used to keep it on the compass screen and liked the way it always showed what street you were on under the compass

I don't mind the trip showing up because it makes me more aware of what my current mpg is and makes me try to increase the number. Yeah I know I'm nuts...

I guess Im not the only one lol. It "should" default to whatever it was last on. Thats what my TLX and MDX did.

I dont need a constant reminder of my heavy foot lol.

Has anyone tried to set the screen to what you want and then save your personnel setting for the driver? I believe that is what my salesman told me to do.

It worked!!!! Change the display to the screen you want, then set your seat memory and the screen will be there when you start the car again. Thanks for the suggestion!!
