A few owners have started a group to share and discuss Infotainment issues with the hope of finding commonality and maybe some tips and tricks to survive until Acura releases some fixes. If you've got pics, videos or just a story we'd like to hear it. Got a tip to make it work better would love that too. This is a good idea, but I have to ask, what is wrong with discussing this here? ?

 

Too much other nonsense. Perhaps the FB group can just stick to infotainment issues period. That’s the only issues I have. Other than that my RDX is solid.

 

That new Facebook group was created because of the constant complaints from owners regarding the infotainment and It has gotten worst especially the last few weeks.

The Admin finally stepped in and created a “sticky” (for lack of a better term) so owners with issues have a place to voice their frustrations, issues, complaints, etc. in one spot rather than have multiple posts on the same subject every single day. It’s the same owners who are very vocal about it that they will bring it up at every opportunity. Someone posts about buying a new RDX and they are super excitement about it and without fail....someone would post that the RDX will have issues soon. Even people who doesn’t own an RDX go out of their way to chime in. Such a bummer.

For me, this is a great forum. Just my 2 cents that for owners that don't have a good understanding of forums this can be a little intimidating. Many people use Facebook every day and it's easier to see posts from the group mixed in with your feed then have to remember to check another website for updates. With that being said... why not both? As one of the FB admins we're trying to play nice with everybody and share info not make it a popularity contest of which platform to share the message is better.

 

The plan is to stick to infotainment. And yes we created the group to separate complaints from people that love the car. The Admin of the other original FB group gave it his blessing so we created another group for those that are unhappy. It's not at all meant to be a competition for members...

 

I understand owners are very passionate about their RDX, but it’s disappointing that a new fb page has to be created hoping to be more civilized.

It it looks like the Admin for the 3G RDX group removed a lot of the garbage posts and I gotta say....it’s somewhat very refreshing.

 

Refreshing indeed. Quite a few public forums are full of useless noise as well as users that are totally clueless and cannot even read the manual or google something first before asking stupid questions. I don't care about some guy tearing apart the entire car to add sound dampening or hacking the system to try and make Android work....etc. I love the RDX Aspec other than the infotainment issues.
