On the upper right notification bar, noticed a new icon saying the gps is not detacted. Navi is on however car icon is not moving. the automatic time and date is dead as well.

After 3 bottom reset, the Acuralink is back to life and time is automatic adjuated, however the gps is still dead. Anyone has experience with the same issue. It seems a rare issue. My android auto is working fine since begining..

 

First I’m hearing of it.

Do a system reset to defaults, not a three button one. That might help. You will lose your settings.

 

Thanks man. I try to avoid the hassle adding all the favorites back and see if it will be back to live after power up again tomorrow. I remember last time I reset the system, the hard part is to remove the "ghost navi favorite" and add it back. Didn't remember how I handle it back then, but it's definitely something I try to avoid. Will live on android auto for a while and see if I can find the solution for this.

 

Try 3 button reset couple times and it's not working. Reset to factory and it's not working. Bring it to dealer this moring though COVID-19 is getting horible in bay area. Dealer fix it within an hour, and told me it's system glitch... They do not reset the system and my favorites are still there. The memory setting of the seat seems off and not jump back to the position I set.. Let me try some more time with this. Still love the car, and it's the first time I bring the car to dealer with infotainment issues. The fix is free and get free car wash. The cost is about an hour waiting. Not to bad.

 

I'm gonna take my car in for this this week. Same thing happened here a couple weeks back with my 2019 RDX.

Did they say what the issue was? And what was the resolution?

 

They say it's system issue, not mention it's software or hardware issue, though I thought it's hardware error before going in. They just peform the fix and it's working ok since then.
