Extreme Heat making Infotainment go crazy
I have a 2019 Advance - bought in early June 2019 and with about 28K miles. Last summer I had no problems. Twice this summer so far, very hot days and a closed up car have caused the Infotainment system to go bonkers. It alternates for no reason between daylight and nighttime lighting, keeps putting out messages about not being able to change drivers mode, loses bluetooth settings, etc.

Living in Arizona, I discovered this relationship very early. I now keep my USB drives on a key ring in my pocket. I have had the issues described and never really thought about them being part of the infotainment system. Yeah, whoever wrote the code for this needs some more help. Anyway, Acura/Honda has not been forthcoming about this issue. I went to my local dealer once, and there is no reason to go back there. My service manager at the Mazda dealer said he will be happy to service the vehicle. I have a great relationship with those folks, and they can get all of the updates I need...who knows, they may find something that our Acura dealer doesn’t know about. Anyway......

LOL
I'm in Tucson, I doubt the heat is the cause of the infotainment issues. Going to be 107-108 here this week, yet again. I've not had the issues here in the REAL heat.
With that said, I know we have other members from Arizona, at least one has seemed to make a correlation to the issues and heat. From my experiences, I don't agree.
