Can a external cd player with usb cable work in the 2020 rdx base model this is the one i will buy if any body know or has used one and works in or rdx

 

It probably won’t work. The system will not recognize it as a cd drive. It will treat it as a USB hub. If yo had an aux cord coming from it to the six input that would work. Hey I could be wrong but the only way to know is to try. Have you purchased the drive already?

The only other thing I can tell you is to buy it and try it if you want. Check to see if the store has a generous return policy if it doesn’t work for you. Just my 2 cents.

Dereileak the aux port you indicate is the one that is were the power/outlet port is it ounder the center console or what is this port for
also the usb port that is located in the upper center console were the cup holders are what can i use this for

 

I was looking to this cd player hott model 611 that comes with usb cable for charging power and a 3.5mm cable for aux think it will work

 

The aux port is is labeled on the cover. It’s not the one with the cup holder.
