When using music streaming services, Android Auto displays a notification banner for each song change (and every commercial change if using the SiriusXM app!). The banner covers the top of the screen where map notifications are shown. Has anyone figured out how to stop this? I've tried everything!

can you disable notifications from your phone and see if that helps?

 

I just use the SiriusXM app native to the RDX, and use AA for maps...no song change banner, but song title IS available via the HUD...Sorry, just realized you didn't mention what trim RDX you have.

 

Hey! Yes, I've tried that with no luck!

 

I have the base trim, which also has the native SiriusXM application, but if I want to listen to downloaded or on demand shows, I use the app (but the excessive pop ups on AA make it unusable for the time being).

I guess I'll have to stick with the native SiriusXM only for now, although the commercials are sooooooooooooooooo annoying.

Bad info, the option is gone in the current AA.
