Audio EQ. What's your best setting?
Post your favorite settings that make the 16-speaker system sound very good. Pls. Include EQ, ceiling speaker volumes and if you enable the simulated sound too. I feel the bass is a little lacking in mine, I know disabling the simulated sound adds bass but I'm not sure if it degrades the quality in return.

I use The Vox app. Has a tremendous ability to adjust parametric eq, plenty of presets and full adjustability to your own taste. Try it! It’s free. Imports iTunes library and syncs with Spotify

So you just use flat settings in the car? I'm on Android, using flat on spotify and enabled Dolby Atmos on my phone. I don't want another third party software for EQ, just the settings in the car's infotainment for enhancement.

Nah I have it set to where I like it when using radio/SiriusXM but when I use the vox app, I have custom settings for various types of music that I have tweaked. I find that the trick is to not put the bass all the way up in the native eq, it’s more about the blending of the sounds and finding the right balance from front to back, etc. the vox app has far more frequency ranges to tinker with though. So I find it can really make use of the surround sound and all the speakers.

I have mine enabled cuz I wanted to experience it in surround sound. Might try disabling it tomorrow and get use to it then... do you think it sounds better when all the voices come from all the speakers instead of having a simulated atmosphere?

The best song I have heard over the system is "Gold Dust Woman" by Fleetwood Mac.. It just sounds phenomenal over the system.
I just wish they would fix the bugs and get Android Auto released... Or it will be onto Hyundai Palisade with Harman Kardon...

I have mine set to one tick above center for the center speaker and the roof speakers. I have the fade 1 extra tick towards the back from center and my bass is up to maximum with my treble around 3/4 of max. This sounds extremely good to me.. especially with .flac files. I purchased the new Eagles box set called "Legacy" that has a lot of remastering on it and it sounds fantastic.

Thanks! Will try this one... and your mids are set to "0"?

If you feel like your bass is lacking, up your bass! Mid's too loud, turn it down.

How high do you go with the volume? I never go past 30 because it starts distorting. I have the treble and bass both up halfway, faded 1 tick to the rear, roof speakers up a few ticks.

The reason why I ask is what sounds best for me might still not be the best. That's why I'll try the settings of others instead of just exploring on my own.

Using bluetooth on Spotify, my phones bluetooth to maximum and I only have the volume from 6-8 mostly, 10-12 when sound tripping but can no longer hear sirens around me, so.

Turn it up to 11!

"Best" is subjective. Best for 'me' may not necessarily be best for you so what's the point in asking?

And now you're arguing. My point in asking is to see if I can try the settings of others and tell if it is better than the ones I have.
If you're not willing to share what's the "best" settings for you, then why are you still commenting on my post?

First of all, if the sound lacks "punch" use a better source. XM is heavily compressed. And Bluetooth is inferior to direct USB connection ( whether it matters for your source material is a different question ).
Human perception changes with overall volume and background noise. In general, turn up the base and treble at lower volumes, especially at higher speeds where the background noise will be high.
Experiment with turning off "DTS Neural", for instance. Again, not all sources or even individual musical selections may play nicely with it.
Beyond these general principles, it's 100% personal taste, so experiment!
