2020 RDX Lane Departure

My wife just got her new 2020 RDX Advanced and compared to my 2017 RDX, it's really a step up!!! She loves the vehicle and so far everything is predictable with the exception of the Lane Departure alerts. She receives the visual alert on the dash display, but no audible "beeps". My 2017 beeps like crazy no matter if the LKAS is turned on or off. I am under the impression that these specific alerts function all the time. Is there a setting, I looked in all menu's and sub-menu's.

Thanks

No it doesn't beep. But it will vibrate the wheel and steer you back into your lane if you go too far over..

Thanks, but when everything is shut off (no Lane assist, no cruise, etc) my 2017 beeps and provides a visual indication when I cross driving lanes. I assume the 2020 RDX "accuwatch" would behave the same. If one is not using "Lane assist with hands free", it should not steer me back into the proper lane, but just maybe a audible warning.
Thanks again!!!

I know what you are talking about because my 2015 Accord has an audible alert too but it doesn't steer you back.. But I haven't found an audible alert option in the Acura which doesn't matter to me since the visual warning and the automatic steering is enough for me..

How would you ever hear a slight audible warning with the stereo playing so loud???

I think you can change that in the settings to also give you a beep

I am glad it doesn't beep. I don't need passengers asking "what is that beeping".

So by default it will steer you back correct if one turns on the lane departure?
