I have a 2017 RDX and climate-based voice control seem to be available and sorta' functions. My wife's 2020 RDX does not support voice commands for climate control...it this correct, or am I missing something?. Just making sure that I am not crazy. Voice control on my 2017 is not anywhere near as good as on the 2020, though

Per page 136 of the the unabridged 2019 user's manual, the "Voice Portal" is only configured for phone, audio and navigation commands. Man! I didn't even know climate control by voice was a thing. Now I miss it so much.

 

I have had cars with voice activated climate control systems (ah, hmmm.... can we REALLY control climate? Maybe I shouldn't go there?)

I find it is easier to just push the temp up or temp down button than push the voice button, and get the right command. I suspect it will no longer be provided in many vehicles.

Its not a feature on the 2019 RDX & suspect it was not added to the 2020

 

I never use mine on my 2015 RDX. However, occasionaly, the voice recognition mistakes a different command (music related) and starts messing with climate control settings.
