2019 RDX-can you save a mix of FM, AM, and Sirius stations as favorites or presets?
Is it possible to save or preset a mix of FM, Sirius, and AM, stations on the 2019 RDX, so that I can easily scroll thru them via the steering wheel (without having to change from FM to Sirius to AM to do it)? Also, if yes, how many can you save? On my current Lexus RX, I can save up 36 mixed type stations. Thank you.

See p256 and thereabouts on the Owners Manual, the full one. Individual stations must be saved as favorites, called shortcuts, then they can be added to the home screen.

I don't currently own the 2019 Acura RDX, but am heavily considering it. If someone can explain to me how the station presets work, I would appreciate it. Can you only save them on the home screen? I found on the personalized settings page that someone posted on this site that you can save 12 FM, 12 AM, and 12 Sirius, stations. I currently have a dedicated radio channel selector on my Lexus. Please share with me the how you set presets up, where you set presets up, and how you access presets. Thank you.

You can save the presets on the home screen and you can save them on the HUD. When you tune to the station that you want to save, long press the touch pad and the option to "save to home screen" and "save to HUD" will appear. You can rearrange the saved stations on the home screen in any order you wish. I don't access the radio stations on the HUD that often, but I am pretty sure you can rearrange their order there as well.
I have a few presets on my home screen, but I place the inputs (ACP, FM, AM, XM) that I access the most often in the corners of the first home screen page for quick access. The remaining presets are on the subsequent pages.
To access the presets on the HUD, you will need to press the APP button on the steering wheel and use the scroll wheel on the, I believe, left side to scroll down and to confirm your choice of radio station.

I generally save presets only on the app pages. So, when I hit the XM button, and the XM screen comes up, all of my XM presets are along the bottom, and on the next page.
I find that starting XM from the apps button on the steering wheel has mixed results, with sometimes showing my presets, and sometimes saying there are no favorites. I find that left side of steering wheel control to be chancy.

The voice control works very well changing the audio - "Play Sirius 69" or "Play FM 91.7" works well with or without any presets. Pushing the the left scroll wheel right or left toggles through the home screen presets, but as Madd Dog says it fails frequently. The quick fix for the "Function not available" message is to cycle the audio power off and back on with either the left steering wheel power button or the volume knob in the center of the dash. Clears the glitch every time, but only until you stop and start the car again, the the "chancy" part comes into play again.

OK, dude, we get it. You hate the RDX. You don't have to go to every thread and say "don't buy the RDX." It's wearing thin and I haven't even been here for 2 weeks.

Once you are here for as long as I have been you will understand. I only report my actual experience to make sure that perspective buyers know what they are going to live with. If they want to buy after researching the vehicle then great.

Back to the OP.
You save a mixture of your favorites on the Home Screen(s). It takes some folks awhile to realize that you can scroll sideways through many pages of the home screen. So on this you can have access to the apps you want to use most (Navigation, XM, FM Radio) plus shortcuts to particular stations, addresses, phone contacts or whatever.
Inside an app's page, which you get to most often by pressing its icon on the home page, you can save favorites for selections of that app. For example, in the XM app pages you can save lots and lots of stations, 8 to a page. You just scroll sideways to get to the ones beyond 8.

I am looking into the new RDX and have a question about the Sirius radio presets. I see that the presets are displayed across the bottom of the infotainment screen with just the name of the channel listed. Is it possible to change a setting and have it display the channel and song? My Volvo lists the channel, artist and song on the favorites screen so you can see what song is playing on all the channels not just the current channel.
