I have a 2019 Acura RDX aspec with the 3d Els sound system. Has anyone else found the bass coming from the factory subwoofer very weak? My dad has a 2013 Acura RDX Tech and it has a Els system also but the bass in there is more heavy. Wondering is something wrong with my factory woofer or something like that?

Also on a side note if the bass is not very profound in these newer RDX has anyone changed the factory subwoofer like a direct drop in like a rockford fosgate p3 8?

 

before posting, search this site. Very explicit info on adding a sub. For example, look at my posts from year or two ago.

 

The bass bumps in my 2021. But for some reason it seems like most of the bass is coming from my doors. I know there is sub bass coming from the sub, but maybe it's so well integrated its kinda hard to differentiate it. Still the best sounding car audio I've ever heard. Beats the $3000 system I made in my 2002 crv

 

I have recently beginning to think that the seats in the RDX are "too good for the Sub". Meaning the shed too much of the vibration.
