Woosh sound when coming off throttle normal?
Hey all, i have a 2020 SH-AWD RDX and was wondering if this woosh sound when coming off the throttle is normal. You can hear it as the boost meter goes from red boost to purple. I feel like i started hearing it after not. I took a video, it may be the boost pressure relieving itself but want to confirm with you all.
Thanks!

It’s perfectly normal, it’s the bypass valve relieving pressure from the turbo to prevent turbo damage after the throttle body valve closes, it vents it into the intake, a lot of people who like turbos find this noise desirable and try to increase it by putting aftermarket intakes on to allow the sound out better since cars that are stock dampen it a lot with the intake design. People with aftermarket turbos will have a blow off valve that vents it to atmosphere, aka into the engine bay and they are much much louder, but factory cars use bypass valve that keep it much quieter and dump to the intake since the air was already metered
