When to expect 2022 RDX info?
I'm getting hyped! I contacted my local Acura the other day to "begin the discussion" on trading in my 2020 RDX Advanced SH-AWD for a 2022 Advanced ASPEC (with SH-AWAD included by default for this year).
I'll call the sales guy back today if I see the new RDX, today.

I heard order banks are open for it already. You would have to talk to them and see if you could order it.
I had no idea, thanks! I'll have to inquire for sure. My Advanced has less than 10,000 miles on it, SH-AWD which is rare-ish for the area, and 3 more years of warranty coverage. It's in positive equity right now and Kelly Blue Book lists mine situation as being in the $43,000 range. Might as well just trade it in for a new 2022.

Used car prices are nuts right now. My Acura has for sure held its value well. I think dealers are limited on inventory right now for new and used cars. Either way, I think the ball is in my court for this trade in.
Yap, the car under cover looked a bit long next to NSX, but the height of the hood and line from the grill-hood-windshield-mirror is unmistakably RDX.
Was just watching an Instagram Story of Honda Pro Jason and he mentioned of a private honda get together, probably Acura would be there as well but could be a revealing of the RDX facelift. Even if he says Honda usually Acura is apart of it especially if it’s in Long Beach.

I’m hoping it’s today and we don’t have to wait until mid next week to find out. They could do something like what they did with the Integra announcement and be revealed late at night but I hope not so it can give everyone a chance to look at the updates they did to it.

If you go to the main website you can see the schedule and the final race is Sunday, this weekend. Nothing after.

supposedly the car under the cover is the PMC model with the Laguna Saca Blue from the NSX
Isn't Aspec with Advance what the PMC is?
Still no digital dash I see.
With the new ASpec+Advance trim, what's the benefit of getting the PMC model? Just the special blue paintjob and having it be "hand built?"

digital dash for MDX is standard but they did highlight it. If it doesn’t have it it really isn’t a lost cause. They would actually have to change the dashboard to incorporate the digital one if they do and at that point it’s a waist money.
Yea, even if it didn't have a digital cluster, I think I'd still be happy. I'm more happy about the folding mirrors to be honest. It's a tight squeeze in my garage
You've got two things working against you:
1) The chip shortage has made both used and new cars a premium product. If you don't want to pay up, next person will!
2) The '22 Acura ILX is built on a platform that has remained relatively unchanged since 2013. It is still the hottest selling sedan in Acura's small lineup. The RDX belongs in a CUV category that is even hotter. Good luck on your significant discount!

It does seem kinda off that the 5G CR-V (deputed in 2017) has full digital instrument cluster and touch screen for infotainment, but the newer RDX has neither but overall is much better SUV/CUV
I prefer digital displays and touch screens, but that is personal choices.
