What are some RDX features that Acura doesn't really acknowledge?
I am looking to purchase a 2020 RDX Advanced model and have learned some interesting things from this forum that Acura doesn't really mention.
Here's a fact sheet: https://www.acura.com/-/media/Files/...Fact-Sheet.pdf
Features not mentioned in the fact sheet for the 2020 RDX Advanced so far are:
- Adaptive lighting, where the #5 Jewel Eye LED light is actually adaptive
- Auto dimming side mirrors
What else is there?

Not sure if you are in the US or Canada but each has slightly different features....
Some would say that Acura has many features that they don't acknowledge, at least until you bring it in for service. Then the reply is that "it is designed that way" (fill in blank)

That’s a lie. It’s been proven time and time again adaptive lighting is on the advance package in the USA.
I have a US model Advance and I can even see it activating while on a curve. The parts list even shows a AFS module for the US model. IIHS also lists the US Advance model as having adaptive headlights, which is missing in all the other trims.
The AFS module part number for US advance model is 33170-TJB-A01.
Also, the auto side dimming mirrors are listed in the RDX press release found here:

I haven't seen anywhere in official Acura documents (other than the owners manual) that the unit plays 5.1 surround audio files. Of course, you can't go out and buy these files yourself, you have to create them from other formats, but if you do it's well worth the effort.
No debate here. As some have said, my 2019 Advance also has adaptive lights. It might be hard to see, and honestly of limited value, but they do work if you look for them. Once you see them, it becomes obvious that are working. With this said, if they are that hard to see.....
Granted, neither the curvature of the earth nor the "adaptive" feature of 3rd-gen RDX advance headlights are easily observed unless you find the right conditions.
I wonder if this is because the head unit is based on Android?
