What do I do for a living?
Whatever I want. Retirement is the best job I've ever had - the only bad thing about it is you never get a day off.
Sierra Mist?
Nah, prefer diet cola, beer or Jack Daniels - not necessarily in that order.

Senior Policy Advisor in the government. I am just under middle management. I like where I am. I feel safe.
Sierra Mist or Little Bites Brownies?
I don't we have either of those up here, but I prefer Coca-Cola and once in a while, Two-Bite Brownies.

Retired middle manager. We spend more on travel than on cars. We finished our retirement travel bucket list, made a second one, and finished that.
Do things while you can, you don’t get the time back.

Quality Engineer for a dental products company. Used to be middle management. Possibly never again, unless there's a big jump in pay.
Sierra Mist?
I only drink water. But oh damn, when those brownie bites come out we go WILD! They're only for special occasions though, because I drive an Acura.

Software Development Engineer for a Fortune 500 company. I integrate hardware (sensors) en-masse with software (backend) and also make it look pretty (frontend).
Where I live... there's some special brownies. I have yet to try them. I drink tea and liquor!

For myself (even though I don't own a 3G RDX currently, though I could....at least I do own an Acura product....)

I'm in healthcare. Clinical side, not admin/management side. Still paying off a mountain of student loan debt....should be done in 2 years. Then may look into some guilty pleasure vehicles.....
Sierra Mist?
I'm more of a Sprite guy myself. Mostly water otherwise. Usually 2% organic milk from costco...gotta get your calcium and vit D, you know.

Upper-Middle Management but we're only a 12 employee adhesive company. Otherwise, Jalopnik pretty much nailed me except for the fact that I'll alternate with Caffeine Free Diet Dr. Pepper and Sprite Zero (Sierra Mist only when I go to the movies).
I mean, I haven't owned an Acura since 2009 when I changed over to the FX50...and my incoming car replacing the MINI is an Audi...
But, FWIW, I am in middle management as well. IT consulting.
Guilty pleasures? Well, if it's soda we are talking about, I do enjoy Coke Zero on a rare occasion but otherwise. I drink whisky.
Never had Sierra Mist.

Could be that these forums are more likely to be populated by people who know about computers and can navigate the world wide web with ease....lot of IT people on reddit as well I think...

Wife who is the primary driver of the RDX is in healthcare (Clinical Educator) within our local hospital network. I guess thats middle management. Im a steelworker, making the quality steel that Acura, Honda, Toyota, etc, etc, etc uses.
Sierra Mist?
Never heard of it. Water normally, but single malt scotch is my guilty pleasure.

Don't hit the demographic since the DD is an Audi...needless, I design and construct HV power electronic substations (FACTS and HVDC). Simply put...I keep your lights on, in a 138kV to 760kV kinda way.
Sierra Mist?
Not even as a mixer...please drink responsibly

No soda here, but a real nice double espresso to start the day.

I wouldn’t take the Jalopnik’s article seriously. It’s the “I want to be noticed” syndrome, far from good professional writing.
The pains of RDX infotainment system adaptation resonate well with our research lessons learned. We see it frequently in the field trials with vendors. Great pieces of new tech elements, features, as taking alone, which are underperforming as a part of emerging system ( RDX Internet of Things?). It takes time and numerous user trials to find their best fit into a new system. As somebody from this forum wisely mentioned before ( don’t remember the thread), we the first users of 3G RDX, are volunteer testers of its advanced features. The good news is about the infotainment My first two weeks of driving the RDX Advance, make me wishing Acura putting more of the Info/Nav software refinement effort along the lines of Apple Play and Android Auto smooth integration, making it fully transparent to the phone apps. They have to leave their own Nav control/editing features as simple and minimal, so we can take full benefit of operating our phone apps via the Touch Pad on the 10.2 “ screen. At the current level of tech push, none of the car manufactures, including Tesla, will be able to compete with the phone Nav systems advances. The best they can do it is to let these apps, new Google Maps, Wase, augmented reality nav , etc, just been shared smoothly through the car computer. I think, the RDX Infortainment unit is well positioned for it. They, Acura, simply need more feedback on our part to come up with fixes quickly. I hope, they will be uploading these updates to our cars soon.

I used to work at the region's public transit company for nearly a decade until earlier this year. I started a side biz with a couple of friends a few years ago and did some Kickstarter projects with it. Somehow it turned into a full time business.
I like cars (Honda/Acura being the favorite brand since I was a kid), playing and watching soccer (huge Liverpool fan), and in recent years, following Formula 1.

I don't fit the demographic. Nor does my wife who's the primary driver of this car. Sierra Mist.....never. Never ever. I'll take a Lagunitas Little Sumpin. No IT background or middle management. Make my living as a pilot. Biz jet type stuff.
Doctoral level professional in mental health in a government setting, with some administrative duties. My clinical work is combined with technology as I see my patients who are in their homes over the computer. Tend to like coffee, tea and an occasional Diet Coke. But will choose a brownie over a cookie every time! Loving my 2019 RDX Advance - no issues whatsoever except that I love driving it so much the miles are adding up rather quickly!
