Unable to change drive mode

Angry Unable to change drive mode

Did the D.1.6.2 update. Completed successfully. Next day started card and the above message keeps popping up and dimming the navigation screen. Changing mode from comfort to sport, etc seems to be working though. Any suggestions on what to do next?

I thought they had some TSB for this if you are on 2019 RDX?

You most likely need the “MOST Canbus fix” applied to your vehicle. Search the TSB section. Your symptoms are covered in that TSB.

Thanks. How critical is it to fix this? Any risk of major failure, being stranded, etc.?

Not likely to be stranded from what the MOST Canbus fixes. Having it done will help eliminate several issues (your issue, crackling speakers etc). I’d get it done if I were you at some point.

I’ve had the TSB applied to my 2019, and recently (this week) noticed the error message is back…but this time when my iPhone was not connected. Last time they tried to blame it on the iPhone cable before they replaced the MOS connector. I was surprised to see it popping on the the Nav screen. Will see what they say when I bring it in for an oil change.
