Touchpad - gloves

I just noticed this morning that you couldn’t use gloves on the touchpad unless they have the smartphone touch feature.

Not sure if the touchpad on the laptops act the same way because I never wore gloves while using one.

Yep, you need smartphone tips on your gloves.

That's a bummer and something I didn't think of when I bought the car. Fortunately I rarely use gloves. None of the reviews I read brought the issue up either.

Even more reason to love the heated steering wheel.

Resistive touch pads work with gloves.

Yeah, the heated steering wheel negates this issue. Also -- I don't remote start my car at home since it's garaged, but this trip we're on now in the mountains have been a revelation as to how awesome remote start is from my hotel window overlooking the parking lot. The car's nice and toasty by the time we jump in it. No gloves in the car necessary, thankfully...

Yesss 100%!!!!!! I can't live without a heated steering wheel (my hands stay cold for like an hour after driving with a cold steering wheel, no joke) and I really don't like the feeling of gloves in my hands. It sends chills down my spine.
