I feel you're rant, and I would be upset too. But I think it is industry knowledge never to buy a first year model car, as you can see why. The used car market is booming now, and you will probably be able to trade it for quick $$ to buy something else. Or trade it in a MY22 if your a diehard Acura fan!

Either way, if your un happy with your RDX, I would definitely get something where you would enjoy driving it. Life is too short to complain, but constructive criticism is the only way to improve something.

I really can't understand how Acura was able to get the A/C to perform so poorly.

Sounds like a great time to see what your car is worth and potentially test drive the 2022 model

Unless it's A-Spec or PMC, I don't like the looks of it. The squared off exhaust finishers just don't work with the rest of the rear design.

Sorry to hear of your problems. My 2019 Advanced has been a wonderful vehicle. Just got back this past Sunday from a 2,000 mile trip up East. My wife got tired of me telling her how happy I was that I bought this car two years ago and how I love it more now than every. I hate to hear others are having issues. If I had a car I no longer trusted or enjoyed I would dump it and get something I liked. I know, its a bad time to buy a car but it is a good time to sell one!

Those sound pretty serious. I would trade. Which Lexus are you looking at. The one I would want NX 450 is not yet available.

My 2019, which was made almost 18 months after the RDX was originally released, has many of the problems that people were describing about their early 2018s. I was naïve to think that Honda/Acura would fix those problems in their production process within 18 months. I have a rattling sunroof, rattling HUD, I had a limp mode surprise on the highway a few weeks ago, I got my USB port replaced because wiggling the cord would cause a disconnect, brakes that squeal even though they were "fixed," a suspension that creaks, a hatch that moans, I have shrinking weatherstripping that no longer makes a seal on my hatch, and probably more issues I'm forgetting about right now.

I still love the car for the way it drives, the comfort of the seat, the quality of the stereo (which does a great job hiding the squeaks and rattles) but the chances that I will buy it out at the end have gone from 95% yes to 100% no. It's the first car I've ever leased and I'm soooo happy with that choice.

I think you got the years mixed up. It looks like you have a 2020 (not a 2019, based on your sig) and you're referring to problems with the 2019s (as opposed to 2018s).
