True story;

Some years back (2015) when we were buying the accord, I had worked out a deal at a dealership the night before for a 6 cyl ex-l trim. The following day we were to take delivery of the car.

Show up next day, test drive the car then request to inspect on the lift. Examining front to back, the entire trans case was coated in oil (maybe engine or trans fluid, didn't explore further). It appeared to be leaking from the trans case halves. I immediately declined this car. They had one other in the same color/trim. That one did not appear to have leaks but the trans/engine underside had some sort of strange corrosion (this was the end of april). Left the dealership without a new car.

Subsequently found another deal elsewhere. Did the same examination. Underside was spotless, no oil, no corrosion, the way it should be on a new car. Now 6 years later, underside is still dry and corrosionfree (under the trans/engine. Sure other parts have begun corroding, but that's expected in the midwest).

Indeed, once you drive it off, the primary headache falls on the buyer to get issues resolved.

After installing the B pillar plugs I can tell road noise is less harsh. Used the part number posted in this thread at my local Honda dealership. Big thank you to the helpful poster. This thread should be a sticky.

i did the same, but really didnt notice anything different. They are little plugs into the frame. How much noise could that possibly stop? since then, I have sound deadened the doors, so my testing is longer valid. I will continue to monitor this thread tho... thx all.

Oh it's not a big difference but I definitely noticed a difference. And the plugs should be there to keep dirt and salt out anyway.
