Snow brushes!

Hello,

With winter approaching, what kind of snow brush is everyone currently using? I have been doing some research, and so far I've seen good reviews with the Snow Brum. Has anyone else used one of these, and if so, have you had any scratching from it? I have always had white and silver vehicles, so I wasn't too concerned about this in the past (I know I should have been though). However, now I have an Apex Blue Aspec, so I am a little more concerned.

I would appreciate all thoughts on this.

Thanks all!

I use the spongy side of my window cleaning squeegee for brushing off snow. It has a long enough handle to do the snow effectively and I have one tool to do two tasks. No scratches from the spongy side. I do keep my car in a garage, so I don't have to do this task very often.

I use a snow broom I've had for years. Don't know who makes it but it's pretty common. Folds and telescopes. Has a squeegee opposite the brush and an ice scraper at the other end.

I learned a long time ago to leave it in the car year round. Otherwise, first snow storm, it won't be there.

I have a snow broom in the garage when I'm clearing the car at home, but I have this sitting in the car for when I'm not home:

Which one of these is better? The older telescoping version or the newer one with multiple pieces for the pole?

If you're looking for snow tires. I have to recommend Goodyear Tripletreds. They are amazing in both rain and snow, even late into their tread life. And not too bad on dry pavement. I went through three sets on my '03 Pilot and ran them year-round.

Now, I would not do that on my RDX because it's a different vehicle than the Pilot. But there's no compromise in snow and slush performance and only a bit noisier on dry pavement. I didn't care with the Pilot because it wasn't that quiet to begin with but with the RDX, I'm willing to give up some snow and slush performance for better dry and wet performance and a quieter and smoother ride.

I don't swap out snow tire.
