Simple question: 2020 RDX mirror-to-mirror width
Hi everyone,
I have a simple question: Any one of you know what's the width of the 2020 RDX (mirror to mirror) ?
I can only find its width with folded mirrors: 74.8 inches. And I am trying to see if it would fit in my single (and old) garage.
Thanks in advance for you help

Don’t trust the interweb, you never know when a Russian bot is roaming, and, as the Russians say, “Trust. But verify.”
I also have an older single car garage. I think it's pretty much a standard width because garage doors are all pretty much the same.
Pulling into the garage, I'd say I have about 3-4 inches on both sides of the mirrors. The vehicle is deceivingly wide, especially the mirrors. It's definitely wider than my 1st gen Pilot.
I'll try to remember to measure the width of the opening next time I'm out there.

Yes, both are physically identical.
I measured my garage opening and, as I expected, it's a standard 8' (96") opening. Maybe I lose another inch or two with the door jams and capping but If I pull into the garage centered, I have at least 3-4" on both sides.

I have an eight foot wide garage and had the same concerns with my 2019 RDX. I had my salesperson measure the width to see if the car would fit through the door. I confirmed his measurement when I went to pick up the car. 91.5 inches measured edge of mirror to edge of mirror.
I have an advance model and a standard 8-ft wide door. The side-view cameras project a line 12 inches from each side of the vehicle. These projected lines fit perfectly inside the garage door. It really helps my to line up with the door and I use them every time.

Go to the dealer, tell them the issue, get a car for a test drive, and see how it fits. That's what we did. We spent almost a month thinking the new RDX wouldn't fit -- until we brought it home on the test drive and very happily found that it does (narrowly). It was a joyous moment and the RDX now sits in our garage as I type. Based on my experience, if it's too close to get a very clear and indisputable answer, it's worth giving it a shot (i.e., very, very carefully try to put the actual RDX in the actual garage and see for yourself). Best of luck - I hope it works out!
At night, it's easiest to center the car in garage. The headlights create two intersecting arcs on the center line of the door. Once I have the car aimed right, I open the door and pull in. I also have rubber chocks that stop me right where I want.
Thanks
The camera lines on the advance model while pulling into the garage does take a lot of guessing out of aligning properly. I also had a concern about the fore and aft measurements of my smallish garage. Since I only live a few miles from the dealer, I took my pre-purchase test drive over to my house with the sales rep and pulled it into and out of the garage a few times. I even went so far as closing the garage door and seeing if there was enough room to walk around the front and at the same time have the cargo door open to see if it cleared the closed garage door. Everything seemed ok, so that played a little part in deciding to purchase it. Later I dropped a string with a strip of cardboard on it down from the ceiling of the garage at the right spot so that when it just touched the windshield it was positioned optimally fore and aft.
